July 2026 Newsletter
Hello everyone,
We hope you're all doing well and enjoying your summer. July was... a weird month for us—not outright terrible, but highly stressful and chock full of transitions.
Here's the scoop!
The Force of July
Athennia met a zombie and we got a visit from the Hellcloud. Taylor's ever-lovely girlfriend Ahlina decided to escalate her special brand of shenanigans, as she often does. After four interviews across just as many weeks, Athennia was offered (and has accepted!) an exciting position as Cleanroom Supervisor at a company looking to do some serious expansion over the next few years! But in the meantime, she still had to endure her last two weeks at her previous job. And she stumbled onto some abuse-by-neglect being perpetrated against her mother in the nursing home.
Piled Higher and Deeper
Athennia's old bosses pulled a classic case of too little, too late in trying to get her to stay aboard their sinking ship. Kevin had breakfast with Joe, marking the first time they had seen each other in person since, like, March of '98 by that point. We celebrated Kelly's birthday. And Taylor may be making an exciting and long-overdue move of her own in the coming days. Plus, bonus cat pics... and also, what the hell is a Langhorne bug?
Anyway, this was one month we're all glad to put behind us... well, except for maybe Riley, who has been maximizing her summer vacation going to beaches and amusement parks while also taking up kickboxing.
