A Giving of Thanks
Thanksgiving Day with Kevin's family :)
We spent Thanksgiving Day at Kevin's parents with his family. There were supposed to be 28 of us! But Laura's husband Matt kept Crawford and Cole home because they were sick :(
Everyone else was there though: Catherine and Ron; Kelly, Steve, Olivia, and Hannah; Roy and Sue; David, Angie, Alexis, Kayla, and Natalie; Laura, JD, Ava, and Maya; Karen; Peter, Alissa, Liam, and Ellie; and Kevin, Riley, and me.
We didn't get a lot of pictures, but here's one of Ron, Liam, Liv, Steve, and Hannah... and Ellie offering Kelly a stack of doughnuts:

Kevin got to play some soccer with Natalie, Alexis, and Kayla. And Riley was ecstatic to finally get to hang out with Ava again. (They've been gaming online together and have kept in touch since they met back in September, but they haven't actually seen each other in person since!)
Ava also facilitated a dialogue between Riley and Alexis (which Kevin and I had hoped might happen at Liv's party, but it didn't because both girls are on the quieter side). But with people her own age (and some common interests) to hang out with, Riley ended up having a lot of fun!

After dinner we had dessert. I had spent several hours making my triple layer German chocolate cake the night before (after putting off making it at least twice now since Kevin and I met, because it's so time consuming).
I'm happy that everyone seemed to enjoy it so much!

And lastly I got some pictures of Kevin holding Liv:

They reminded me of the first picture I ever saw of him, which made me start to fall in love with him just over a year ago :)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
