Hello everyone!
We hope everyone had a wonderful August :)
We didn't get into anything super crazy, so much as a bunch of weird and crazy things seemed to happen around us this past month.
Here's the scoop...
An Update on My Mom
Athennia found out her mom isn't doing so well; so she went to visit Lou in the nursing home.
A Sick Joke
Athennia and Kevin got the flu, and it was pretty lame. Lou turned 70. We ate at Popeyes without Kelly ;)
Rubbing Assault in the Wounds!
Just when we thought a pointless road trip and dinner from Qdoba would be the highlight of our week, our neighbor Ruth went psycho on her boyfriend and got cited for assault!
Upgrades (and Downgrades)
Our parking lot got a makeover, our electric service got a makeunder, and we have downstairs neighbors again for the first time since March.
All in all, we're happy and healthy...
Kevin and Athennia are officially finished their Christmas shopping for each other already; Riley's been back in school for a week; Taylor is doing well up in Connecticut, working as many hours as she can and learning to save money; and the cats... just get to be cats all day long :)
