April 2023 Newsletter

Hola,

(That's Spanish for hello. Riley taught it to us.)

It's hard to believe April's already over! We hit a few minor snags here and there—and April definitely takes the cake for "month with the most snakes and gangsters in it" so far!—but, all in all, it was a much better month for us than March was :)

Here's all the cool (and mediocre) stuff we did...

Where Angels Fear to Tread

April kicked off with a bizarre cast of characters (not including Steve and a tornado—who were both supposed to show up, but didn't). We check out Playwicki Park, and Riley miraculously lives to tell the tale!

Riley became the Pied Piper of Hamelin, and our kitchen outlets offed themselves as a result. Then Kevin fired up the garden for the first time since back in autumn.

Easter Said Than Done

We took the scenic route through Tyler State Park (with tons of great pictures!) and enjoyed a lovely Easter dinner with Kevin's family.

Un Aniversario y una Semana Lenta

We celebrated Riley's Mexican heritage (and, you know, the one-year anniversary of our engagement). Rumor also has it that Athennia will be the proud owner of some toxic sludge soon

A Pretty Penny

Kevin and Penny celebrated their Pennyversary, and we got to hang out with Olivia and Hannah while visiting Kevin's family. But, wait; there's more: As a bonus, you also get to see the inside of our fridge and our vaccum cleaner!
