February 2025 Newsletter
Hi everyone!
We hope you all had a wonderful February like we did :)
While ours wasn't exactly crazy and packed with action, it certainly was not without its monumental moments—like celebrating Kevin's 40th and reconnecting with his father's side of the family! (And then there was plenty of the regular dumb stuff we get up to as well.)
Here's the scoop...
So This Is Forty
Kevin officially turned 40... but so far there haven't been any consequences.
Chipottle and Eelgas
Our neighborhood threatened to become a bit unruly again until we pushed back a little bit. Riley slept over at Kassie's. And some big football game happened, or something; but we went out shopping and explored the ghost town instead.
The Truth Will Set Us Free
After kicking around events from the past ever since his cousin Becky wrote to him last month, Kevin finally decided the only chance we have to try to get everybody talking again is to start by exposing the person responsible for his family's estrangement in the first place... and then at least everyone will be on the same page.
My Cousin, Vinny's
We met Becky's family for dinner—during the blizzard of '25—and it went wonderfully. Then we survived a crazy windstorm and prepared for battle with the only person in our neighborhood whom we know for sure has a history of assault ;)
Two Flu over the Cuckoo's Nest
And finally, Riley went on another date with Taaro; Kevin made everybody nachos; and then they both got the flu. (Plus bonus end-of-the-month cat pics.)
That does it for February; but everybody enjoy the remainder of our six more weeks of winter :)
