September 2023 Newsletter
Hi everyone!
September's officially ancient history—and, to be honest, we're totally okay with that since we spent the second half of the month battling colds.
But, there's nothing quite like being under the weather for a couple weeks to remind us to appreciate having our health otherwise... and we still packed a decent amount of fun into the month even in spite of getting sick.
So, dig in...
Crashing the Party and Riding the Rails

First, we rode the rails at Kevin's Uncle Roy's train club!
Our Way and the Highway

Then we took an unplanned drive around Bucks County and spent all our money on takeout.
The Cake before the Storm

Athennia's adventure at the laundromat could have been straight out of a Seinfeld episode. (Oh yeah, and then she had a birthday.)
Charge, Check, Cache in Hand!

We tried our hands at geocaching and hit a snag with the whole land- and house-acquisition project.
In Sickness and in Health

And finally, we all got sick. And for the cherry on top, we stopped by "Dentist," got stuck behind Handicapped McGee, and Athennia got rear-ended on the turnpike. Loads of fun to close out the month!
(Don't miss these bonus cat pictures though.)
We're hoping for a cool and crisp October... with sinuses to match! And we're looking forward to getting outside again soon and (fingers crossed) continuing to move ahead with settlement on our property... and perhaps even breaking ground on the construction of the house one of these years?
We'll certainly keep you posted!
Cheers for now,
Kevin & Athennia & Riley & Taylor
